Carlos has spent 30 years in the humanitarian sector, the last 26 with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC). He recently left the “international life” and now is a Career and Life Coach. He also volunteers with the Spanish Red Cross (International Humanitarian Law department), is adjunct professor on International Relations at IE university and is a member of the editorial board of the “Tiempo de Paz” magazine.
As a coach, he works mainly with humanitarian staff, whether on career issues, work-life balance or the effects of humanitarian work’s life. He is a specialist in Ikigai coaching, in provoking reflection on what is important and in answering “Why do I get up in the morning”?

Carlos is an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) by the ICF and a Licensed Coach by the Ikigai® Coaching Institute. He holds a DAS in International Relations, a Master in Human Resources, an Advanced Management Programme with IE business School and a Certificate in Strategic Initiatives Leadership with IMD.
