General Description of the Programme:

SENED is an independent, non-governmental, non-profit organization licensed and registered in Türkiye with the number 27-15-175. SENED Organization was established shortly after the Syrian Nakba and in response to the suffering of millions of Syrian refugees in Turkey as well as internally displaced people in Syria, to alleviate suffering, achieving justice, equality, and freedom, strengthening the role of civil society, and supporting and developing the local community. SENED works in the humanitarian work sectors to support, empower, and educate the community through several programs, takes exceptional care of people with disabilities and their families and defends their issues.

SENED Association emphasizes creating safe, accessible, and participation-encouraging living conditions for individuals’ emotional, intellectual, physical, and social development by focusing on people with disabilities. Beyond the medical perspective on disability, it tries to find solutions to the problems faced by disabled people with a holistic perspective by considering the disabled people, their families, and the society they live in, focusing on the conditions they experience. SENED Association aims to create a safe and supportive environment and space by conducting family-oriented activities to help disabled individuals and their families become stronger, discover their potential and stand by with their children. By collecting data on refugee-disabled people and identifying problems and needs, SENED strives to ensure harmony between disabled refugees and local people with a voluntary, professional team and a community-based approach. All activities, education, research, advocacy, etc., are carried out on platforms created by local and disabled refugee people.

Job purpose:

As Education expert, you will be responsible for controlling the performance on education personnel providing non-formal education regularly and provide the related feedback for improving the quality of education.

Duties, objectives, and competencies:

· Monitoring the educational process in 4 schools in A’zaz camps.

· Writing reports about the provision of non-formal education, remedial classes, and catch-up classes.

· Revise the non-formal education curricula when needed.

· Provide recommendations to improve the provision of non-formal education sessions.

· Recommend capacity-building training for education personnel.

· Monitoring the students’ progress while attending NFE sessions.

· Set a monitoring plan to monitor the teachers’ performance regularly.

· Any other tasks required by the line manager.

Requirements: Essential

· Bachelor’s degree in Education or similar certificates.

· Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in supervising education projects, non-formal education in particular.

Requirements (desired)

· Good skills in report writing.

· Experience in humanitarian work and principles.

· Experience in working with PwDs (People with Disabilities)

· Advanced knowledge of monitoring education activities.

· Good knowledge of MS Office programs.

· Intermediate level in English.

بصفتك خبيرًا في التعليم، ستكون مسؤولًا عن التحكم في أداء الأفراد المتعلمين الذين يقدمون التعليم غير الرسمي بانتظام وتقديم الملاحظات ذات الصلة لتحسين جودة التعليم.

المهارات والاهداف والواجبات:

• مراقبة العملية التعليمية في 4 مدارس في مخيمات أعزاز.

• كتابة تقارير حول تقديم التعليم غير الرسمي، والفصول التعويضية، والفصول الدراسية.

• مراجعة المناهج التعليمية غير الرسمية عند الحاجة.

• تقديم توصيات لتحسين تقديم جلسات التعليم غير الرسمي.

• توصية بتدريبات بناء القدرات للموظفين التعليميين.

• مراقبة تقدم الطلاب أثناء حضور جلسات التعليم الغير رسمي.

• وضع خطة مراقبة لمراقبة أداء المعلمين بشكل منتظم.

• أي مهام أخرى يتطلبها المدير المباشر.

المتطلبات/ الأساسيات:

· درجة البكالوريوس في التعليم أو درجة مشابهة.

· خبرة مثبتة لمدة 3 سنوات على الأقل في الإشراف على مشاريع التعليم، التعليم غير الرسمي بشكل خاص.

المتطلبات المرغوية:

• مهارات جيدة في كتابة التقارير.

• خبرة في العمل الإنساني والمبادئ.

• خبرة في العمل مع PwDs (الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة)

• معرفة متقدمة في مراقبة انشطة التعليم.

• معرفة جيدة ببرامج MS Office.

• مستوى متوسط في اللغة الإنجليزية.
