General Description of the Programme:

SENED is an independent, non-governmental, non-profit organization licensed and registered in Türkiye with the number 27-15-175. SENED Organization was established shortly after the Syrian Nakba and in response to the suffering of millions of Syrian refugees in Turkey as well as internally displaced people in Syria, to alleviate suffering, achieving justice, equality, and freedom, strengthening the role of civil society, and supporting and developing the local community. SENED works in the humanitarian work sectors to support, empower, and educate the community through several programs, takes exceptional care of people with disabilities and their families and defends their issues.

SENED Association emphasizes creating safe, accessible, and participation-encouraging living conditions for individuals’ emotional, intellectual, physical, and social development by focusing on people with disabilities. Beyond the medical perspective on disability, it tries to find solutions to the problems faced by disabled people with a holistic perspective by considering the disabled people, their families, and the society they live in, focusing on the conditions they experience. SENED Association aims to create a safe and supportive environment and space by conducting family-oriented activities to help disabled individuals and their families become stronger, discover their potential and stand by with their children. By collecting data on refugee-disabled people and identifying problems and needs, SENED strives to ensure harmony between disabled refugees and local people with a voluntary, professional team and a community-based approach. All activities, education, research, advocacy, etc., are carried out on platforms created by local and disabled refugee people.

Job purpose:

Reporting to the Field Officer, the Field Assistant is responsible for the daily traveling to intervention areas, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of MPCA (Multi-Purpose Cash Assistance) and EiE (Education in Emergencies) activities. S/he will ensure proper coordination with the team in the field.

Duties, objectives and competencies:

· Implementation of MPCA and Cash2Lift Education Assistance in the field, such as registration and assessment of HHs, beneficiary selection and verification, cash disbursement and follow-up

· Implementation of education-focused case management under the technical supervision of Education Officer

· Daily traveling Gaziantep districts (Nurdağı, Islahiye etc.) and Kahramanmaraş (city center and districts)

· Ensure that all emergency response data, reports, and records are well-organized and archived.

· Collaborate with supporting departments.

· Provides logistics, administrative, travel and secretarial support, in line with Sened rules and regulations, maintaining full confidentiality in all aspects of assignment; maintenance of protocol procedures, information flow and follow up on deadlines and commitments made.

· Monitor and evaluate the progress of beneficiaries.

· Participate in project activities, including needs assessment, meetings, training, workshops, and events.

· Support the Field Officer and Education Officer in enhancing existing project tools and developing new ones as needed.

· Ensure the quality of project database and prevent duplications.

· Perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements: Essential

· Fluency in Arabic is required.

· Strong organizational and administrative skills.

· Experience in humanitarian work and principles.

Requirements (desired)

· Fluency in Turkish and/or English

· Minimum one year of relevant professional experience

· Proficiency in current office software applications and KoBo

Bachelor’s degree certificate
