About NSPPL:
The National Syrian Project for Prosthetic Limbs (NSPPL) was established in 2013 in Reyhanli, southern Turkey, by a group of Syrians in response to those affected by the war in Syria and in need of prosthetic limbs. NSPPL is the first non-profit of its kind in Northern Syria and Turkey to support amputees in recuperating and integrating into a self-sufficient autonomous lifestyle.
Job Summary:
The objective of this position is to work as a team leader in specialized mental health centers, which includes a team of psychologists, the team leader will supervise the work of the team of specialists, psychologists, psychiatrists , PSS workers, and case workers, and ensure coordination between them, provide technical support to the team, organize files and coordinate the referral path inside and outside the center Ensure the quality of service and submit reports periodically, as well as coordinate with the director of the center regarding the administrative aspects of the work.
Tasks and Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with the psychiatrist to provide technical and administrative supervision and follow-up to psychiatrists and PSS workers in the MHPSS center through personal supervision sessions and group supervision sessions.
- Supporting psychologists and PSS workers when they work with the acute and complex cases of the beneficiaries.
- Compile the regular quantitative and qualitative reports required by psychologists and PSS workers who are subject to supervision, and work on a final report that summarizes and exchanges them upon request.
- Ensuring that the mental health and psychosocial support team members are committed to working hours and fulfilling their tasks.
- Organizing the monthly and quarterly planning process for the center’s activities, providing technical supervision and follow-up to the support groups that have been conducted, raising awareness, advocacy campaigns, and awareness visits through reviewing and following up on plans, plans, results, implementation,n and periodic and final reports.
- Ensure a high level of coordination internally and externally with other service providers regarding an active referral system for the needs of beneficiaries.
- Participation in facilitating capacity-building training sessions for psychiatrists and PSS workers at the Mental Health and Psychosocial Support Center.
Job Requirements:
- Academic Background : University degree in Counselling or Psychology.
- Required experience : Experience in practicing psychotherapy as well as experience in supervising MHPSS teams.
- Years of experience : At least 2 years experience in supervising a team and having at least 3 years’ experience in MHPSS.
- Languages : Fluent in Arabic , advanced in English.
- Skills : high level of supervision skills , Good knowledge of therapeutic techniques such as (CBT. EMDR . NET…etc), Having a good background in protection and general health subjects, Experience in dealing with severe and complicated MHPSS-cases, Being a certified trainer in many MHPSS-related subjects, Having good proficiency in using e-mails and MS office programs,Has knowledge of IACS MHPSS Guidelines.

Basic skills training – CBT -NET -EMDR training courses – PM+ – PFA – suicide prevention – supervision training .
