ADB Internship Requirements
The following eligibility criteria may differ according to the internship program.
What is the education requirement of the ADB Internship Program?
- Be enrolled in a graduate school program (Master’s or PhD);
- The program must be in an area related to the work done at ADB.
What is the language requirement of the ADB Internship Program?
Proficiency in English is required.
What is the age requirement of the ADB Internship Program?
Applicants must not be over 32 years old at the time of enrollment.
What is the nationality requirement of the ADB Internship Program?
Applicants must be citizens of an ADB member state.
What are the competencies required for the ADB Internship Program?
The main competencies required are:
- Very good research skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and work under pressure of deadlines.
- Excellent writing skills and proactive stakeholder engagement.
- Works pleasantly with others. Thinks out of the box.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize work, and work independently to guarantee accurate and timely completion of assignments.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
- Previous experience using computational software.
