Trust Consultancy & Development offers a 3-day course for drivers and fleet supervisors of armored vehicles in humanitarian and emergency contexts.

The course is designed for drivers who are working in the Humanitarian sector, and in Emergency settings. The course will enable the driver’s skills to ensure the safety of the Humanitarian staff, their security, and the organization’s assets while operating in a hostile environment. This course also capacitates the drivers to deal with road-related accidents i.e first aid and casualty management and transportation in case of any accidents.

The course will run in a safe track environment where the participants will get to know their own personal limits and those of their vehicle and determine their capacity as a driver, primarily focussing on handling life-threatening situations and occurrences.

The participants are required to attend all training sessions to be delivered the certificate at the end of the training.

Learning Objectives

After this training, the participants will engage in their transport missions with a knowledge of the associated risks planning methods, with a focus in hostile environments. They will have the fundamental knowledge to identify problems with their vehicles, and anticipate and respond to challenges they may encounter such as checkpoints and other security threats.
