Role

The Accounts Payable Officer is a role based in the Corporate Finance, Asia Pacific team that ensures the accurate recording of supplier’s invoices and supplier payments are done in a timely manner and in compliance with the appropriate credit terms and internal controls.

Location

The role is based in Brisbane on a full-time basis.

Primary D uties and Responsibilities

Undertake the day-to-day operations of the processing and payment of suppliers.
Ensure Accounts Payable policies and procedures are implemented consistently across the Group.
Prepare telegraphic and weekly fund transfers.
Maintain credit card register and process credit card acquittals.
A monthly report on the status of your KPIs and any other important areas of concern.
Any other reporting request as dictated by your line manager.

Required Qualifications and Key Competencies

A degree in a relevant discipline
Substantial leadership experience in logistics operations services
Substantial leadership experience in humanitarian assistance and emergency relief responses
Superior written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent ability to develop collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Superior project management experience, including strong financial management skills.
Flexibility to travel to various locations throughout the APAC region.
