The Role
Oxfam International is looking for a global Campaigner to join our Inequality Advocacy & Campaigns Team. This role will support the effective implementation of our Make Rich Polluters Pay campaign, and other priority campaigns and influencing activities on climate inequality.
Job Purpose:
- Supporting co-creation and delivery of creative public campaigns to engage audiences around the world.
- Working closely with countries, regions, and affiliates to ensure that people power is central to Oxfam’s work on climate inequality.
- Lead and support project teams on campaign priorities, in line with agreements by our Climate Campaigns & Advocacy Strategy Team, and Climate & Inequality Working Group.
Who we’re looking for
The successful candidate will be a highly creative campaigner, with experience organizing campaigns at the regional or global level for both online and offline engagement of publics. They will be able to think strategically, be self-aware and decisive. They will have excellent communication skills, and thorough understanding of the relationship between poverty, climate change and inequalities.
