JOB SUMMARY
JOB PURPOSE:
A Data Entry role involves entering data from various sources into the computer system for processing and management. A candidate working in data entry will need to efficiently manage a large amount of information that is often sensitive.
FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS:
- Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities if possible, and verify outputs.
- Enter data by inputting text-based and digital information from source documents within time limits.
- Create reports and store completed work in designated locations and perform backup operations.
- Scan documents and print files, when needed.
- Respond to queries for information and access to relevant files.
- Ensure proper use of office equipment and address any malfunctions.
- Compile, verify, and sort information according to priorities to prepare source data for computer entry.
- Research and obtain further information for incomplete documents
- Following up on data inputs for work teams, organizing and validating the information, exporting Excel files, and conducting data analysis.
- Preparing 5ws reports and monthly activities reports.
- Preparing minutes of meetings,
- The ability to study the feasibility and evaluate small project proposals and contribute to their development and evaluation.
- All office work assigned to him.
Knowledge, Experience, and Qualifications
- A degree in Information Engineering, Commerce, or Economics.
- Five years of experience in data entry
- Prior experience serving as an administrative director within humanitarian organizations.
- Experience in women and child protection projects with protection organizations
- Advanced level of typing speed and accuracy
- Commitment to human rights and community approach
- Strong knowledge and commitment to humanitarian work standards.
- Advanced level of English.
- Ability to work within a team under pressure and respond to changing needs
- Experience in using office equipment,
- Priority for applicants within the work areas
Language
- fluent in English & fluent in Arabic.
IT skills
- Excellent computer skills .
- Proficiency in the internet and search tools.
- Proficiency in MS office (Excel, Access and word are a must)
