We are seeking a Procurement and Logistics Coordinator to serve with our Emergency Response team in South Sudan. Bring your leadership and operations experience to this roll as you oversee and manage large/bulk volume procurement in Juba. Liaising with the team, you’ll coordinate and track procurement as well as facilitate logistical details for international orders. Come join our amazing Operations Team to develop, plan, implement, and organize procurement systems and procedures as part of the Emergency Response supply chain. A day in the life of an Emergency Response Procurement and Logistics Coordinator

In the role of Emergency Response Procurement and Logistics Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to:
- Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him
- Work with the Emergency Response Operations Manager (EROM) to help design, implement, and maintain an effective system of procurement, transportation, logistics, and storage
- Facilitate and oversee the procurement of materials and supplies
- Serve as focal point for large/bulk procurement requests and logistics
- Maintain open communication with the field and government to determine and understand specifications, regulations, and deadlines
- Conduct periodic internal audits of procurements and respond to procurement-related audit inquiries
- Work with Emergency Response Operations Coordinators (EROCs) and field-based logistics personnel to ensure an accurate Asset Inventory System
- Facilitate Operations Department staff development and capacity building
- Establish and maintain a harmonious working environment seeking to strengthen, encourage, and foster staff development and empowerment
- All other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Accounting, or Supply Chain Management with 3-4 years of relevant experience in operations, procurement, or logistics; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to lead teams and stay organized
- Ability to read, write, and interpret documents such as contracts, government laws and regulations, humanitarian and political reports, and annual reports
- Ability to speak effectively before large groups and key partners
- Strong training in operations/procurement/logistics as well as finance/accounting preferred.
- Counter-fraud training and/or audit experience also preferred
- Relevant field-level experience related to operations/procurement/logistics, and emergency response team experience is preferred
- 12 credit hours of college-level Biblical Studies (required)
Job Location: Juba, South Sudan

Language Requirement: Fluency in English (required); Arabic a plus
Accompaniment: Unaccompanied (no spouse or family)
Travel Expectations: Domestic and international travel of approximately 35 days/year; required travel documents and vaccinations for entry into foreign countries will be necessary
