Introduction:

Job Summary:

Provide high-level administrative support to the Country Director, by handling information requests and performing clerical functions including taking and transcribing minutes of the Country Management Team meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the country director’s schedule: Coordinate meetings, appointments and travel arrangements as well as act as liaison to the executive team
  • Provide administrative support: Prepare correspondence, reports and presentations.
  • Perform clerical duties, filing, maintaining, and retrieving corporate documents
  • Maintain confidentiality: Handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • In collaboration with the HR department, assist in planning company events, meetings, and employee team building for special projects.
  • Assist in planning, organize and implement events, such as meetings, business luncheons, or client dinners on behalf of the country director.
  • Prepare information and research for executive needs.
  • Arrange travel of executive staff, accommodation, itineraries, and all correspondence related to the arrangement needed.
  • Support country office management team in other official duties where applicable.
  • Any other duties assigned by your supervisor

Academic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Communication or any related field.
  • At least 3-year experience in office work and administration assistance

Required Skills, Competencies & Knowledge:

  • Self-direct and able to work with limited supervision.
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office suite (Word, excel, PowerPoint, email and use of internet).
  • Successful track record in office support services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability
  • In-depth knowledge of BRAC’s operational environment is an added advantage.
