About the webinar

This webinar is the first session of the webinar series “From Theory of Change to database design for evidence-based decision making” offered by the ActivityInfo team. It is a one-hour session ideal for Monitoring and Evaluation professionals or Program Managers who are interested in learning more about the Theory of Change and its role in learning and evidence-based decision making. We will base the session on a specific scenario to make the presentation easier to follow.

In summary, we will explore:

  • What is a Theory of Change?
  • Why do we need the Theory of Change in MEAL system design?
  • How to develop a Theory of Change and best practices

There will also be a Q&A session so make sure you bring your questions!
