JOB SUMMARY

JOB PURPOSE:

supporting and assisting in the implementation, coordination, and evaluation of health programs. include tasks such as data collection, analysis, and reporting, involving all program-procurement processes as well as collaboration with healthcare professionals, community organizations, and other stakeholders.

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS:

  • Monitoring Dispensing Operations and Health Warehouses in the health facilities:
  • Oversee and monitor dispensing operations and health warehouses in medical centers.
  • Ensure adherence to pharmaceutical standards and guidelines in the storage and dispensing of medications
  • Provide immediate reports on the stock status of medications and medical consumables in health centers.
  • Conduct periodic assessments to compare the importance of medications based on active ingredients, following global pharmaceutical standards.
  • Evaluating the performance of pharmaceutical staff working in warehouses and pharmacies affiliated with medical centers
  • Develop distribution plans for medications, disposables, and laboratory supplies.
  • participation, ensure efficient and equitable distribution of pharmaceutical-medical- resources based on assessed needs.
  • Inspect medical supplies to verify their conformity to requirements BOQ
  • Curate purchase lists for medical supplies based on needs assessments and regular reports. (procurement lists)
  • Preparing and raising the medical needs timely according to the stock
  • Utilize pharmaceutical expertise to select and recommend the best-suited medications.
  • Prepare purchase lists for medical supplies based on conducted needs assessments and periodic reports.
  • Ensure compliance with international pharmaceutical standards in the selection and distribution of medications.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with pharmacy regulations and IRW policies.
  • Provide regular reports on pharmaceutical activities, including dispensing, stock levels, and distribution.
  • Collaborate with the health program team to communicate findings and contribute to program enhancements.
  • Any Other duties or responsibilities assigned by the Supervisor

Knowledge, Experience, and Qualifications

  • A Pharmacy college degree
  • 4 years’ experience working for a health humanitarian aid organization in a similar position.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Culturally sensitive.
  • Demonstrates the flexibility and energy required for a high level of self-management and awareness.
  • Used to working in fast-moving environments providing accurate and timely information to a high standard.

Language

  • Arabic Native Speaker
  • Good English language

IT skills

  • Very Good computer skills.
  • Proficiency in the internet and search tools.
  • Proficiency in MS office (Excel and word are a must)
