About the Role:

As an HR Generalist – Field at myAgo, you will provide consistent client support throughout the employee journey for the Field team. You’ll serve as a trusted advisor to the business, collaborating on projects and providing guidance on HR-related matters while ensuring compliance with legal regulations and company policies. This role is based in our Thiès, Senegal office and will report to the HR Manager. Approximately 40-50% travel to rural areas is expected.

You Will:

  • Support the recruitment of field team members in collaboration with the Sales and Agriculture teams.
  • Identify, attract, and select qualified candidates for open positions, and manage recruitment processes, ensuring alignment with company requirements.
  • Help complete employment contracts and ensure adherence to legal requirements.
  • Provide support to field team members on different HR-related matters, such as benefits, payroll, and procedures.
  • Assist field leaders in implementing onboarding plans for new team members.
  • Ensure teams adhere to performance management procedures and maintain quality standards.
  • Listen to team members and address their concerns and monitor team engagement, ensuring their concerns and feedback are acted upon in liaison with the Thies office.
  • Support training and learning initiatives to enhance employee skills and competencies.
  • Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies and procedures, and provide guidance and interpretation for business operations .
  • Participate in development of HR KPIs, including metrics, queries, and ongoing reports for company requirements.
  • Perform a variety of other tasks or ad hoc projects to support the HR team.

You Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field or equivalent professional experience.
  • 4+ years experience as an HR representative or equivalent in a generalist capacity.
  • Strong HR acumen, drive and understanding of employee lifecycle and HR protocols.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and common practices; experience with Senegalese Labor Law and Employee Code.
  • Experience working in rural areas; frequently engaging with teams in the field.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office and HRIS systems (PaySpace or Bamboo a plus).
  • Detail-oriented and data driven mindset.
  • English, French proficiency required; Wolof proficiency preferred.
