World Vision (WV) Mauritania partners with children, families and their communities to help them reach their full potential by tackling the causes of poverty and injustice in Mauritania and making sure that all children enjoy good health and nutrition; have access to clean water and improved sanitation facilities; are educated and prepared for life’s challenges and opportunities; are protected from harm; experience the love of God and their neighbours; are participating in the decisions that affect them and their communities; and live in resilient families and communities with diversified livelihoods that are able to provide for their current and future needs.
As the Integrated Programs Director, you will provide leadership in program development, implementation and management in all programs including grants, sponsorship and Hostile Environment Awareness (HEA). You will also ensure program quality, integration, coordination and alignment to WV Mauritania strategy, policies and partnership & donors standards for the achievement of child well-being aspirations.
Requirements include:
- Master’s Degree in Economic Development, Community Development, Sociology, Agriculture or related field
- Demonstrated cumulative experience of 8 years in programming management
- At least 5 years in leadership position in program development
- Experience in working with donor funds, sponsorship operations and grants funding
- Good verbal and written skills in French is essential, English is required
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally at least 40% of time
