This position is part of the U.S. Development Finance Corporation (DFC) Office of the Chief Operating Officer (OCOO). As a Managing Director Pipeline Management and Execution, you will be responsible for helping to drive and execute a pipeline of diverse investments that are aligned with DFC’s key strategic priorities and poised to deliver significant development impact.
Major Duties:
- Collaborates with and provides guidance to Offices and the business lines in the monitoring and execution of a pipeline of strategic and high impact investments.
- Oversees a process that provides reliable data regarding DFC’s progress towards strategic objectives and internal targets.
- Resolve issues that arise within the investment pipeline by devising and implementing effective solutions.
- Provides recommendations on enhancing policies, practices, or activities to enable high-impact investments.

Qualifications:
Applicants must meet all eligibility and qualification requirements no later than the closing date of this announcement.
You may qualify at the GS-15 level, if you fulfill the following qualification requirements:
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service that includes overseeing the execution of portfolio management strategies or processes to drive progress on organizational goals and priorities or improve enterprise-wide organizational performance.
Note: Education is not substitutional at this grade level.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
