Job purpose
SYCAC is seeking for a reliable M & E Assistant, who will be responsible for quality of project activities data and indicators (quantitative and qualitative), ensuring the implementation of complaints and response mechanisms, implementing a mechanism for measuring beneficiary satisfaction while ensuring adherence to highest ethical standards, and Ensure that all M & E data are archived based on the SYCAC procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing a project M & E plan based on the project logical framework.
  • Collect data on project activity indicators (quantitative and qualitative), and performance measurement indicators while ensuring data quality and adherence to the timeline.
  • Implement regular field visits to project work communities to evaluate achievement compared the project plan.
  • Implementing a feedback and complaints management and response mechanisms (CRM) in accordance with the specific criteria in this field.
  • Ensuring documentation of beneficiaries’ complaints and observations, providing analysis and recommendations about them, actively participating in dealing with them, and following up on the process of verifying and handling complaints.
  • Ensuring the archiving of all project-related data, documents, and reports according to SYCAC procedures.
  • Preparing weekly and monthly project reports (with ensuring the continuous flow of data with the best quality).
  • Ensure all beneficiaries and stakeholders are aware of the mechanisms for submitting complaints and suggestions, in addition to their prior knowledge of the procedures followed by the M & E department during the implementation of activities.
  • Work on a study measuring beneficiary satisfaction, a case study, success stories, and lessons learned.
  • Conduct pre-evaluation and post-evaluation of all project activities.
  • Ensuring adherence to the highest ethical criteria to support accountability to beneficiaries, community representatives and other stakeholders.
  • Commitment to the Code of Conduct, child protection, and prevention of sexual exploitation and harassment.
  • Commitment to executing any other related tasks in coordination with the direct manager.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • At least 2 years of Practical experience with non-profit organizations.
  • Possess the skill of dealing with the work team effectively and positively.
  • Excellent Planning and organizing skills and ability to adhere deadlines.
  • Broad understanding of the work environment and ability to communicate with various actors.
  • Excellent report writing skills.
  • Very good analytical and computer skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Advanced level of Arabic writing & Speaking skills, Level B2+ in English.
