Habitat for Humanity International is looking for MENA Resource Development/ Partnerships Manager who will lead and drive revenue growth in the MENA region while supporting Program Offices in establishing partnerships and fundraising efforts, aligned with regional strategies. The Resource Development/Partnerships Manager is expected to be based in Amman (open to remote work arrangements) working in hybrid with an expectation of 25-30% travel across the various offices for meetings with donors, peer organizations and the national teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy and Leadership:
- Collaborate with MENA Director and Program Managers/Directors to provide strategic direction for establishing strategic partnerships in the region, aligning with program needs and strategic initiatives.
- Lead on partner and donor landscape analysis and mapping of peers.
- Lead capacity development planning with Area Office (AO), Global Fund Network (GFN) offices and The Global Foundations, Organizations and Institutions (GFOI).
Grants Acquisition:
- In collaboration with GFOI and Program Offices identify and pursue external funding opportunities
- Coordinate proposals development tasks with offices.
- Support offices in developing consortia when necessary and prepositioning of unsolicited proposals in collaboration with AO technical teams.
Prepositioning & Donor Engagement:
- Leading on FOI the prepositioning strategies for the region and regularly updating the GFOI Director of Europe, MENA, and Africa updated on pipeline opportunities.
- Identify key relationships to strengthen national and regional positioning and elevate HFHI’s profile with various stakeholders.
- Cultivate and maintain strong partnerships at regional and country level, developing engagement strategies, attending in person meetings and events with partners alongside National Directors
- Monitor donor landscape and circulate funding forecasts (FOI and corporate) to Offices for prepositioning meetings.
- Develop key marketing material and external audience mapping to assist in prepositioning HFHI.
- Support the GFOI Director of Europe, MENA, and Africa with improving processes and ways of working to strengthen FOI partnerships development and training of MENA staff on FOI tools to meet fundraising targets.
Compliance Support:
- Ensure key grant documents are tracked and compliance is maintained.
- Ensure compliance in key grant areas and flag critical policy or systems issues needing resolution.
Minimum requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in development, Social Science, Management, or related field.
- At least 5 years of senior management experience leading fundraising initiatives in an established International Organization.
- Excellent command of English
- Outstanding networking skills with an up-to-date knowledge of grant opportunities and trends.
- Demonstrated track record in proposal development, funding acquisitions, and grant management.
- Ability to engage strategically with donors and manage donor expectations.
- Self-starter with analytical and critical thinking
