About the Role:
The PA, Purchasing will manage all indirect purchases, analyzing and optimizing costs, organizing calls for tenders, negotiating with suppliers, defining purchasing strategies, exploring new suppliers, managing the supplier database, managing supplier relationship, evaluating supplier performance, managing contracts, analyzing purchasing performance, to ensure the compliance with purchasing procedures. You will report to the Purchasing and Logistics Manager.
You Will:
- Develop purchasing policies and budgets.
- Analyze departmental requests and coordinate with suppliers to meet organizational needs.
- Negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relations and performance.
- Ensure compliance with procurement procedures and organize tender processes.
- Monitor order execution and facilitate supplier payments.
You Have:
- French and English proficiency
- At least 3 years work experience in a purchasing environment
- Project or team management experience
- Ability to work independently on important projects; desire to take a great deal of ‘ownership’ of work
- Advanced Excel skills (can perform complex functions, analyze data to make decisions)
- A passion for the mission, vision and values of myAgro
