The Tearfund West Africa team is looking for an inspired individual who is passionate about DMEAL to fill the role of Influencing Impacat Officer. This is a key position that helps to support the Regional office and ensures the smooth running of other influencing cluster offices. The Influencing Impact Officer will lead in the DMEAL support in the 3 Influencing Clusters.

Capacity Build and accompany partners and Tearfund staff in DMEAL for influencing:

• To accompany influencing organisations to develop quality DMEAL approaches
• To identify need for and deliver DMEAL training, providing capacity building, advice and support where relevant.
• To work with organisations and staff on DMEAL compliance as required
• To support and advise staff working on influencing projects in design to ensure good practice DMEAL is incorporated.

Plan, develop and support implementation of DMEAL plans:

• Develop results matrices, targets, indicators and baselines for the regional influencing goals
• To support the development and implementation of DMEAL plans, systems and tools, including data collection and analysis methods that align with the Country Strategy and influencing portfolio, and the corporate DMEAL framework.
• To provide support and advice for end of project internal learning reviews, project evaluations and country strategy reviews, for the purposes of accountability and learning.
• Provide guidance for the annual review of the influencing programme to create a holistic view of Tearfund’s influence in the region to determine whether it is on track with the implementation of influencing activities. Support the implementation and embedding of Tearfund DMEAL requirements and standards
• To work closely with the Regional DME Advisor on the development of existing and new Tearfund requirements and standards for DMEAL work, including: contextualisation of tools and approaches; piloting and implementing new approaches; and assisting in the roll out of wider organisational initiatives into the Regional team. This will include working on the scaling up of digital data collection and analysis tools and providing input into the corporate framework for data collection, analysis and reporting.
• To ensure Tearfund Quality Standards and Core Humanitarian Standards are applied where appropriate in programmes and projects.

Please note: The candidate should have the right to live and work in Togo, or Cote d’Ivoire preferably Togo. The candidate should have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French, good interpersonal skills to work in a cross-cultural setting.
