Overview
Projects Clinic Consulting (PCC) is an expansive research, monitoring, and evaluation organization based in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) since 2019. Our essential services include detailed program evaluations, public opinion surveys, independent monitoring, and economic empowerment services. PCC maintains a significant presence in the region, with offices supported by both a dedicated remote technical unit and our overarching remote headquarters.
Job Summary
Projects Clinic Consulting is on the lookout for Field Coordinators in selected countries where PCC is active. The Field Coordinators or Field Managers will support PCC in implementing specific assignments such as project and programme evaluations, research studies, TPMs, and economic empowerment. Their tasks will include recruitment of field researchers and field experts, mobilizing the field teams, managing logistics of the consultancies such as data collection and training of the field teams, navigating access and permissions if needed, overseeing fieldwork and data collection, and translating data into the local languages.
Ideal Candidate Profile
PCC seeks capable field coordinators or field managers in the respective countries as listed below. The ideal candidate needs to have strong skills in field management, strong networks on the ground in the respective countries, strong relationships with governmental and non-governmental counterparts such as officials, representatives, etc. He/she should have very good English skills in addition to being a native speaker of the local languages in the countries targeted (Arabic, Somali, Swahili, Afar, Amharic, Tigrinya, Sidamo, Pidgin, Igbo, Mooré, Bissa, Dyula, Fula, Malagasy, etc.)
Requirements
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken (must).
- Proficiency in the local dialects and languages spoken in the country of assignment (must)
- Previous experience in data collection and field management including strong coordination and networking skills (highly desirable).
- Strong planning and training skills.
- Strong skills in translation and data management including coding.
