Who We Are
IREX is a global development and education organization. We strive for a more just, prosperous, and inclusive world—where individuals reach their full potential, governments serve their people, and communities thrive. With a projected annual portfolio of more than $150 million and more than 750 staff worldwide, we work with partners in more than 100 countries in four areas essential to progress: cultivating leaders, empowering youth, strengthening institutions, and increasing access to quality education and information.
IREX seeks a part-time program associate for the Communities and Governance practice and the Elections and Democracy Activity in Liberia (EDA) team. The EDA project is a five-year USAID-funded project that aims to help Liberia overcome threats to its democracy and foster inclusive, sustainable democratic development. IREX is working as a sub-grantee to Democracy International to support youth political participation and strengthen youth engagement in the democratic process. The program associate will provide programmatic, administrative, and logistical backstopping support to the program and the broader practice. The position is expected to be part-time with the possibility of transitioning to full-time within a year depending on performance.
We are doers. Our decades of on-the-ground experience help us create greater impact, practical recommendations, and lasting partnerships.
