Overview

We are looking for a skilled educator to implement the application into the Educational system of Ukraine.

“Can’t wait to learn” was created to support children in war. In Ukraine, the application covers the program of 1-4 grades and totally meets the requirements of the New Ukrainian school reform. Supported by the MoES, the application has 100 000 users among children and teachers.

For a new Phase of the project, we are looking for a person with skills for conducting quality training and managing the process of implementation.

Responsibilities

  • keep up an operational plan for the application implementation process;
  • develop and conduct trainings for educators to support the implementation process and reach out the Ukrainian children;
  • work on accounting and reporting;
  • together with the team, develop and fill the events calendar with useful and interesting events for the beneficiaries of the application, involve professional experts to present the features of the application to ensure regular training activities on use of the application during educational process;
  • maintain cooperation with government agencies (Ministry of Education and Science, local authorities etc.) to form a network of project ambassadors in the regions and abroad;
  • organize regular focus groups for teachers, children and parents to get ideas and suggestions for improving the application;
  • conduct regular meetings with partners, contractors and the project team, provision of status updates and reports;
  • establish distribution of the manual for “Can’t Wait to Learn” application among teachers.

Qualifications and skills

  • degree in Education or equivalent work experience;
  • proven experience as an educator (teacher, methodologist, trainer etc) — experience in Primary education is an advantage;
  • ability to create educational materials for adults. understanding of basic principles of adult education;
  • strong organization skills;
  • computer skills (Google docs, SharePoint);
  • strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a proactive and collaborative approach;
  • excellent communication skills.

Our offer

  • Local contract with salary and secondary labour conditions based on the in-country salary scale, local T&C’s will apply. Initially the contract will be via a consultancy agreement with a daily rate of approximately 97 EUR.
  • The role is based on full-time working hours (40 hours per week).
