About Mercy Without Limits:
MWL is a humanitarian, advocacy, non-profit organization dedicated to working with communities in order to overcome poverty. main priorities are aimed at empowering women, youth, people with disabilities, and children by enabling them to participate in economic, social, and civil spheres. We aim to protect women, youth, people with disabilities, and children’s rights by the constitution and legislation systems.
Job Purpose
Video content is an essential part of Mercy Without Limits’ marketing strategy; our videos inform donors and potential donors about our global humanitarian projects. We’re looking for a skilled video editor to work in both short and long formats, taking footage shot by production teams and editing it based on project specs and feedback from management.
Objectives of this role
- Set a high bar for video marketing deliverables
- Ensure consistency in daily content
- Enhance social media and overall marketing strategies
- Identify and implement improvements in the video editing process
- Produce content for diverse audiences and platforms
- Keep up to date with the latest video marketing trends
Key Responsibilities
- Edit short- and long-form videos for MWLs website and social media accounts
- Assemble raw footage and transferring the files/uploading them
- Ensure videos meet the marketing team’s specifications and guidelines
- Implement creative notes from management
- Input graphics, effects and sound to enhance footage
- Splicing videos to combine them into high quality montages
- Ensure video projects follow brand guidelines and image
Note: the above-mentioned key responsibilities/accountabilities are illustrative ones. Other future responsibilities/accountabilities may be assigned to the job depending on the department’s organizational chart.
Qualification (Education/Work Experience/Languages)
Essential:
- Associate’s degree in Media, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Two years at least of the same work experience
- Good Command of the Arabic Language (4 skills: Listening – Speaking – Reading – Writing).
Desirable:
- Bachelor’s degree in Media, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Four years at least of work experience.
- Good Command of the English Language (4 skills: Listening – Speaking – Reading – Writing).

- Excellent storytelling skills
- Knowledge of basic editing principles

- Experience with high-resolution file transfer programs
- Understanding of video encoding formats
