Course description
The course aims to provide the required skills to carry out a diagnosis of sanitation
systems and wastewater treatment facilities and appraise rehabilitation options.
What you will learn?
During the training you will learn:
• Identify the key stages of wastewater treatment and biological processes.
• Understand the basics of conception, sizing, operation and maintenance
wastewater systems.
• Test and optimize wastewater treatment processes.
• Recognize the constituting parts of wastewater system and carry out
rehabilitation works.
• Design a survey system design and rehabilitation purposes.

The course is designed for experiences engineers and project managers engaged
in the rehabilitation of small to medium wastewater treatment facilities.

The training will take place in Toulouse (France), in partnership with INSA.

4 weeks preliminary eLearning, 5 days F2F, 2 months post course assignment
Fee information
The total course cost will be 2650 EUR (1750 course fees + 900 hotel).
Course fees include venue, facilitation, lunch, and snacks during the days of the course.
You have the option of having the ICRC organize your accommodation or arranging it yourself. If you organize it yourself, you will only pay the course fees (1750 EUR).
Flight and transport are entirely your/your organization’s responsibility in terms of organization and coverage.
