Do you dream about working for the World Bank Group? The World Bank Group Young Professionals Program (better known as the World Bank Group YPP or WBG YPP) is the Organization’s most prestigious selection process. In order to be successful in the World Bank Group YPP, it is essential to meet all the program’s minimum requirements and be aware of the assignment features. But that is not all. It is very important that you are properly prepared.
*APPLICATIONS (2021-2022): June 15 – July 15 (Applications Open for all profiles); August 16 – September 20 (Applications Re-Open for IFC & MIGA profiles only).
The WBG YPP will accept applications on behalf of three institutions (the World Bank, IFC and MIGA). The program aims to recruit and develop future leaders to collaborate effectively across these institutions. Some of the minimum criteria for this program are: being fluent in English; holding a Master’s (MSc), Doctorate (PhD), MA or MBA degree and relevant work experience.
In pursuit of its mission, the OpenIGO network has developed a comprehensive ebook and support and guidance services, with the aim of highly increasing your chances of success in this competitive process. These services include revising your WBG YPP application documents (essay, curriculum vitae and thesis/dissertation summaries) and a mock interview, as per the World Bank Group YPP model.
