Here’s where you come in:

As the Design Monitoring & Evaluation (DME) Capability Senior Advisor, you will set and roll out global priorities to build staff and partner capability for programme design, monitoring, and evaluation (DME). Your priorities will address existing and emerging business needs for field offices, regional offices and the global centre. The priorities will be the foundation for a capability strengthening system, which addresses staff and partner capabilities across the variety of World Vision programme contexts and funding streams. You will systematically strengthen DME competencies and build a strong community of practice (CoP) and knowledge management (KM) system to support information sharing and capacity building.

Requirements include:

  • Master’s degree in monitoring and evaluation or other relevant technical area
  • Post-graduate qualification in capacity building and training
  • Minimum 8-10 years’ experience building technical and leadership capacity for DME
  • Understanding of adult learning pedagogy and methodologies
  • Experience with the latest developments in capability strengthening, mentoring, coaching and competency frameworks
  • Quantitative and qualitative data analysis skills, as well as the ability to express facts and ideas in a clear, convincing and organized manner.
  • Excellent skills in document editing, formatting, website and publication design.
