Mission and objectives

Al Mezan’s mission is to promote the respect and protection of human rights, particularly economic, social and cultural rights, in the Gaza Strip as part of the occupied Palestinian territory, through research, legal intervention, advocacy and awareness-raising. We carry out our work with a sound combination of professionalism and community participation. Our guiding principles include equal human worth and equal respect of all human rights, individual and collective, for all people as enshrined in international law and jurisprudence.

Context

Organizationname is seeking for a team of four online volunteers to support imitating a new e-newsletter to be the hub for sharing latest updates of our work. The newsletter will be circulated with all contacts in out mailing list.
The selected volunteers will be divided into two groups.
The first will support the layout designing and the second patch will prepare the content for the first pilot as follow.
1- Designing the layout for the newsletter in accordance with Al Mezan communication guideline and be customized to work with the outlook.
2- Prepare contents for the first pilot newsletter from existing stories, articles and other communication materials.

Task description

Al Mezan is in the process of initiating a newsletter to facilitate the dissemination of the most recent developments in Gaza based on our legal and documentation work.
To achieve this goal, we are seeking the assistance of a dedicated team of online volunteers who possess expertise in graphic design and editorial work. Their role will involve collaborating with us to create the newsletter’s layout and create content for its initial pilot.
