Context
The We the Women campaign is a global movement to engage the world’s women in shaping global solutions into the future. It is reaching out to the world’s women through various channels. It invites their thoughts, ideas, and aspirations – what is the world they want, how do we get there, and what do they expect from the international community to propel us to this vision.
The We the Women Global Survey is the central piece of the We the Women campaign. It will gather the voices of women throughout the world and collect data on women’s perspectives about global priorities and how the international community can address them.
The survey is asking women questions about how they see the future, their priorities, fears and hopes, and how global leaders can listen to them and support them as we collectively address issues, challenges and opportunities of the future.
To ensure that women’s voices in Nepal are heard, the United Nations Resident Coordinator’s Office in Nepal is seeking the support from highly motivated Online Volunteers to conduct and disseminate the survey using online forms to get voices from Nepali as part of the global survey “WE THE WOMEN”.
Task description
Under the supervision of National Information Officer, Online Volunteers will undertake the following tasks:
• Attend online orientation meeting.
• Share survey link among female peers/colleagues/communities/families.
• Follow up using online means to complete the survey.
• Disseminate the survey to at least 25 respondents (and ensure that survey submitted completely).
• Share the completion report in numbers to UNRCO by March 30, 2024.
